About this game

“Treasure of the Sunken City,” made for kids ages 7 to 10, turns your house or backyard into freshly rediscovered ruins at the bottom of the sea. An underwater explorer spotted five coral columns marked with symbols just before her radio went quiet, and each column guards a different challenge: a seashell to match with its echo, a constellation of pearls to connect, a door that opens when you copy the motion of a wave. The kids follow the trail she left, column by column, until they reach the treasure room in the heart of the city. Every challenge mixes sharp eyes and logic, and none of them asks anyone to read a long passage, so even the youngest diver stays in the game. The book already includes every card and board to cut out, the steps are laid out one at a time, and the game works just as well for a handful of kids as for a big crowd around the party table. There is nothing to improvise on game day: hide the clues, start the game, and let the crew dive for the treasure. Five challenges carry the quest from the first coral column to the final chest. The guide also offers hiding-spot ideas and backup hints for any crew that gets stuck along the way.
