About this game

“The Forbidden Museum,” made for kids ages 7 to 10, locks your group in a museum wing closed for renovation while the night guard finishes his rounds elsewhere, with a real countdown ticking on a gallery clock. Rebuild a painting piece by piece, put a dinosaur skeleton together in the right order, open a display case with a code hidden in a statue: each puzzle unlocks a clue that gets the group closer to the exit before the guard comes back. The mood stays playful and curious, never scary, and it fits a birthday party or an afternoon with cousins equally well. The book already includes the puzzles, the padlocks to cut out and assemble, backup hints for groups that get stuck, and a step-by-step guide for the game host: what to set up, what to say, and when to restart the countdown. It is an intense, short experience built to fit in one hour, from the first lock-in signal to a quiet exit through the service door. Five puzzles follow one another, each tied to the last by an object or a clue, so the group really feels the pressure of the clock without ever staying stuck for long.
