About this game
“On the Trail of the Animals,” made for kids ages 6 to 9, turns a walk in the woods, a backyard, or a park into a real nature expedition. The kids follow a trail of clues, such as tracks to spot, feathers to find, and sounds to recognize, that leads them from one animal to the next until they reach the final den. Each stop teaches a real detail about the animal being tracked: what it eats, where it lives, how to recognize it. It is a clue trail made for moving, observing, and learning while you walk, without ever going in circles: every clue points clearly to the next one. The book includes the clue cards, animal identification cards, a blank map for drawing your own course at home or outdoors, and a guide for the grown-up who goes along with the group. It is perfect for a nature outing, an outdoor birthday party, or simply an active afternoon, ending with a final discovery that rewards the whole exploring team. Five animals set the pace of the course, chosen because they are easy to spot near home (a fox, a bird, a rabbit, a spider, and a bee), and they are shown with real care for nature facts rather than as mere decorative silhouettes. The guide also offers options for different places (backyard, park, woods) and a shorter version for the youngest players.
