Underwater Riddles

“Underwater Riddles,” made for kids ages 7 to 10, gathers a series of short riddles dressed up as challenges for a curious diver: find which fish is missing from a school, complete a sequence of seashells, guess which animal is hiding behind three clues of color and shape, and put the stages of a sea turtle’s life in order. Each riddle fits on one page, with a clear question, a picture to study, and everything a kid needs to answer without any outside help. There is nothing to hide and nowhere to run around: it is a notebook a child can solve alone, with family, or in a friendly challenge, at home, on the road, or at the beach. The difficulty rises gently, from a very simple first clue to the big final riddle that combines every clue to find a forgotten shipwreck at the bottom of a reef. The answers are gathered at the back, with the reasoning explained step by step so kids understand an answer instead of just being handed it. Since each riddle stands on its own, they can be done in any order. A Diver Explorer certificate is included to celebrate the last riddle solved.
