About this game
“Knight Riddles,” made for kids ages 7 to 10, gathers a series of short riddles dressed up as trials for a knight in training: rebuild a coat of arms from color clues, put a tournament course in order, crack a coded motto, and match a training weapon to what it is used for. Each riddle reads like a small one-page challenge, with a clear question and everything a kid needs to solve it without any outside help. There is nothing to hide and nowhere to run around: it is just a notebook a child can solve alone, with family, or in a friendly challenge. The riddles climb gently in difficulty, from a very simple first clue to the final riddle that combines several clues to earn the title of knight. The answers are gathered at the back, with the reasoning explained step by step so kids understand an answer instead of just being handed it. This notebook works as well for a quiet moment after school as for a vacation activity, and with so many independent riddles it holds up to repeat play, one riddle at a time in any order. A Knight’s Certificate is included at the end, once every riddle is solved.
