Detective Riddles

A casebook of mysteries to solve by pure deduction!

Riddles for kids

About this game

“Detective Riddles,” made for kids ages 8 to 11, gathers a series of short cases to solve with logic alone: who lied, which statement doesn’t add up, which clue gives the culprit away. Each riddle reads like a one-page mini story, followed by a clear question and several clues to cross-check. There is nothing to hide and nowhere to run around: it is just a notebook a child can solve alone, with family, or in a friendly challenge. Every case rests on a clear principle of deduction, explained once and then repeated at several levels of difficulty, so the reasoning settles in step by step instead of being guessed at random. The answers are gathered at the back, with the reasoning explained step by step so kids understand an answer instead of just being handed it. This casebook works as well for a quiet moment after school as for a vacation activity, and it holds up to repeat play: every case stands on its own, so kids can keep training long after the first read. Five levels of rising difficulty let kids track their progress, from a first, closely guided deduction to a final case that combines several conflicting clues. A blank tracking sheet is included to log the cases solved.
